FRP Floats

WMI is in an effort to develop new structural concepts for pier and dock construction by using lightweight concrete and fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) composites. WMI FPR Floats adopt marine resin and water-resistant fibers to one –step solidification molding. They are filled with closed cell foam, to ensure that will do not sink when it suffers accident damaged. They are provided with the essential requirements for the new pier and dock concepts include cost competitiveness, durability, modularity, and service enhancement. The use of FRP materials for reinforcement, hardware and utility components further improves durability of the pier and dock structure.
